Celebrating Father's Day in NYC
|
|
During Father's Day Todd and I went to NYC with mi padre. We visited the Metropolitan Museum which had an amazing view off of the rooftop on to Central Park . Also I think Todd and dad were impressed by how much I learned during art history last semester. hey I never said art will be my life ambition. I mean come on all I can draw are stick figures, strange smileys and tornados.
Dad brought back some cool gifts from China. He gave me a panda bear with a chinese shirt SOOO adorable! also he gave me a picture of himself from when he was 5 years old. LOLOL he was such a cute child... what happened! jk

Don visiting Long Island
|
|
Don visited last weekend before his activation and well we definitely had a fun filled weekend. We played ultimate frisbee on the beach, visited Feustal working at Gold Star, played mini-golf, gave donuts to strangers, played pool, towned it and chinese at Heksher Park.
Thanks Georgia for the pictures! It seems when I'm in Huntington I slack in taking pictures.

Went to the city with a few UD friends; Liz C, Tammy, Jess Sitkoff and H*ton friends Georgia and Dowsky. We all went out to dinner and then afterwards Georgia, Dowsky and I wondered around Central Park. I had a great night. It's funny how time flies because we didn't get home until after 1am, yet it only felt like 10pm. DUDE I soooo wanna rollerblade in Central Park I think it would be so much fun!
oh yeah hey dowsky just letting you know Georgia is going to her bank to buy a purse. LOLOL and Dowsky's been whipped. LOLOLOL Oh yeah and we think we saw Steps in NYC, but we're not quite sure.

Painting Meg's basement
|
|
|
What a random day. Melissa and I went over Meg's and painted her basement because she's renting out the basement to another family since her grandmother moved out. heheh painting's a lot of fun! Melissa and I painted while Meg sang and danced. In a few days we're gonna be painting another room in the apartment, and my porch. heheh too funny. I heart my girls!

What an insane friday night! I went out with Liz M, Melissa, Beth, Dawn, Jess, Tammy and Liz C. to celebrate Dawn's 21st bday WOOHOO (tho her birthday isn't till May 29th. ALSO DON'S AND DAN'S BDAY! HAHAHAHAHHA) We went to Home Grown for dinner and then Cold Stone for some major ice cream Lots of fun. I heart my GSS girls. heheh I got my traditional pick up Melissa picture, and dude it was funny when Liz C., hands me a condom at Cold Stone and I hold it out and say loudly "Thanks for the condom!" she was sooo embarrassed she took it back. HAHAHAHAHAHHAAHHAHAH Very amusing (oh oh a Geooorgia word). I just had a great time! It was really tough saying goodbye to everyone since I know Melissa is leaving monday and Liz C. is only at school for two more nights. Now it's really hitting me that school is over. Funny it's not the finals preparation, but instead saying goodbye to friends.
Later I left Dawn's bday gathering to head over to Syphered (Ida's and Michele's room). Eric, Ryan, Don, Jess, T, Ida, Michele, Melanie (very sweet girl I met yesterday) played asshole (card game). I watched since I was a bit too hyper from my night out with the girls. Capturing movement was Ida chugging. too funny. you go girl and T winning president about 24/27 times. Who knows some large number like that. I can't believe I was up at 7am for my biology final, yet I didn't go to bed after 5am. HAHAHAHAHA eh it's all good I had a great day.

Cinco de Mayo picnic on the green
|
|
What a fun afternoon! Ryan, Heather, Michal and I picked up tacos, listened to mexican music, enjoyed the perfect weather and played frisbee during our picnic on the green. hehehe too bad my stereo stopped working, and we needed extra batteries for Dawn's cd player. hahaaha THANKS DAWN!! hehhehe who cares we still had a great time. Michal I definitely want to do it again some time!!!
But I gotta say it was pretty funny when Ryan, Michal and I visited her dorm next year and we stepped back outside and it started to POUR!! oh man thank goodness I had a blanket to cover my stereo, and Michal had a sheet to cover her hair hahahahah
Aww T I hope you're feeling better from your cold
oh yeah Ryan note I left out the picture with you and the fat cat...... I'm saving it for my xanga. bwa hahah bwahahha

John Zuckerman finally got married on May 1st . The wedding was in Jacksonville, Florida. Gorgous at the resort we stayed at. Too bad it rained because the wedding got moved from the beach to inside. Who cares I got to see family who I haven't seen for a while and kept the tradition in getting stuck at the kids table. poor Todd, Mitchell and Tracey they're in their 20s and yet are still at the kids table. kid's table 4 life! hehehe
I was talking to one of my aunts, and it turned out she graduated Univ. of Delaware 15 years ago and she remembers living in Dickinson A third floor as a freshman.. How random! Tracey and I had a great convo about the campus. Turns out she used to work at Grass Roots.

I had a great time celebrating Michla's bday. Alexis, Heather, and Dan seemed very nice. Dude I had Japanese food at Hibachi! Yet I'm afraid to eat sushi.. shh don't tell anyone
It was definitely funny when the chief through a shrimp in the air for me to catch in my mouth, yet it smacked me dead on in the forehead instead. hehe
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICHAL AND JESS!
